My father served on four submarines, not necessarily in this order: USS Torsk SS-423 USS Pomodon SS-486 USS Tilefish SS-307 USS Cusk SS-348 While on the Cusk he was a Fire Control Technician during the Loon trials.
I do not recall him ever mentioning either of the names in the book, Robert F.
Hopkins or George E.
Ross.

It was the "bible" for Navy personnel, providing information about a wide range of Navy topics.
" This book is in pretty good condition for the age, see the pictures.
There is some wear.
7 5/8" tall, 784 pages.
Flexible blue oil skin covers.
Fully illustrated, some in color.
Some smudges.
There are two names in the book, both inside front cover.
The last picture is of my father’s USS Tilefish Commemorative Tray hanging on my wall.
