The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Manager will function in a supervisory role, providing direct oversight to Behavioral Health Technicians, monitor client experience, and seamlessly integrate client needs into their stay in the residential treatment program.
Responsibilities:
* Lead a staff of professionals who assist mental health professionals in providing direct care to individuals with mental health conditions.
* Manage Behavioral Health department including hiring, scheduling, and performance management.
* Provide consistent, daily, APPROPRIATE engagement with clients, providing support through implementation of the treatment plan.
* Monitor and document patients' behavior and progress
* Help individuals develop coping skills and implement interventions as directed.
* Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during their treatment.
* Foster a safe and therapeutic environment for patients through observation and appropriate interventions.
* Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Additional duties as directed by the BHT Manager.
Requirements:
* 3 years of management experience required.
* Bachelor’s Degree with at least 1 year experience in Behavioral Health preferred.
* Experience working in a mental health or healthcare setting is highly desired.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport and build relationships with patients.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to effectively handle challenging situations.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation: $50,000-$65,000
