SUMMARY : The Brew Brothers Assistant Manager is responsible for the efficient operation of the restaurant, including the hiring and staffing of the restaurant, menu creation, quality control, and positive guest relations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain general cleanliness and organization in the restaurant.
Delegate work to employees.
Assist in creating staff schedules.
Knowledge of IPA and Craft Beer types, Styles, Glassware, and Characteristics.
Assist in the responsibility for inventory of restaurant food products and supplies.
Train, Evaluate and Coach all employees.
Provide friendly and courteous service to guests.
Assist in resolving guest complaints and promote positive guest relations.
Other duties as assigned.
Must be available for scheduled work.
Must exhibit the Family Style Service model at all times.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises the staff of the restaurant.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Tropicana Entertainment’s policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1 year of related experience and/or training in a similar food outlet, hotel or casino atmosphere.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess and be able to maintain a current Health Card, AES Card, or other required certifications as required by geographical area of the property.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively communicate.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Basic computer skills required, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
