1989 Kawasaki 650sx Modified/Race build Project
I have a 1989 Kasawaki 650sx side exhaust jet ski.
Ski was torn down a few summers ago for a complete overhaul, haven't had the chance to put it all back together and am selling it now for someone who is looking for a project ski.
Comes with over $5,000 of extra rare and premium aftermarket parts and accessories, that includes an extra 650 motor, as well as an extra 750sx dual carb small pin green top motor.
Hull in in excellent shape and bilge has been refinished.
Also have all the stock parts as well minus a pipe and battery, just needs to be put back together and will make an awesome reliable modified or race 650sx depending on how far your want to take the engine modifications.
Plan for this was to build a GroupK spec F650 with either recreation or competition porting specs per the GroupK restomod proven specs.
A recreation/limited build with rec porting, decking, and tapping for dual cooling with just these bolt on mods running 91 octane at 40:1 premix will run at least 45-48mph, depending on rider weight.
A Comp/Modified build will be similar in performance to Wild Bill Pointer's Race 650sx specs, which included comp porting, high compression head, decking, tapping for dual cooling, and a quality exhuast pipe (Coffman's or Factory Pipe) running 91 octane at 32:1 premix will run at least 50-51mph, depending on rider weight.
