Marina Store Clerk
Position Summary
Havasu Riviera Marina is seeking seasonal Store Clerks.
Interact directly with marina guests for retail food/beverage/merchandise purchases.
In addition, Store Clerks provide information on marina facilities, specifics relating to products and services, while processing payments, re-stocking shelves, and maintaining hot/cold food items.
This position reports to the Marina Manager.
General Duties
Provide genuine, warm greetings to all day users, Slip Holders, and State Park Annual Pass holders.
Smiling, caring, and making a concerted effort to provide accurate information about the Marina’s services is essential, while processing transactions efficiently
Maintain vendor control during shift
Maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store within the standards set by the Marina Manager
Adheres to State Health Department regulations for non-pre-packaged food products
Responsible for a daily cash drawer, and reconciliation of all monies for each shift
Must follow all Arizona Liquor Law policies and procedures for transactions
Must be comfortable using both Microsoft Office applications, basic office equipment, and web-based applications via computer, tablet, and phone as needed
Code of Conduct Requirements
Notify management of guest complaints at the time they occur.
Practice effective service recovery by rectifying any complaints as soon as possible
Because of the fluctuating demands of the company’s operation, it may be necessary that each Employee Partner perform a multitude of different functions therefore, as an essential part of your position, you will be expected to help others when occasions arise
Adhere to all company, marina, and front gate written mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, oral instructions, etc.
Communicate effectively with proper grammar
Wear a clean and neat uniform daily that follows Havasu Riviera Marina Standards
Maintain the reputation of the marina and common areas as a clean and welcoming facility
Ability to interact positively with supervisors, management, co-workers, guests, owners, and public with skills to provide excellent customer service
Ability to produce work in a timely manner which is accurate, complete and of high quality
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Starting wage is $13.
50+ per hour depending on experience, with annual review for increases based on performance
Paid vacation days available after 6 months of employment
Sick pay as required by Arizona State Law
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand for an extended period of time
Must be able to work in a refrigerated area for up to 15 minutes and be able to work outside in all types of weather for a short period of time
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, carrying cases of milk cartons, soft drinks, beer and juice containers, etc.

Be able to climb a ladder to clean windows
Be able to sweep and mop floors, dusts shelves and lift and carry out trash containers
Be able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the convenience store
Be able to clean bathrooms, to include floors, sinks and toilet
Schedule
Federal and state working hours and vacation allowances will be respected, as a minimum.
To be mutually agreed, but in line with recreational boating and hospitality employment practices, will include:

Unsociable hours
Paid/unpaid overtime
Education & Experience
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, is required
Customer service experience in hospitality, marina, or equivalent service-based industry
Proven track record of performing at the highest level of ethical work standards
