Position: Seasonal Zip Line Cashier

Positon Summary:
The Zip Line Cashier is responsible for providing a safe, fun and engaging environment for our guests and employees on our Zip Line Course.
This position is responsible for the following goals related to safety, service, and efficiency related to operating higher complexity activities.
Responsible for record/file keeping, ticket sales and all related reports.
Building positive professional relationship with guests and employees is key to this position’s success.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Cash and card handling responsibilities.
Assist guest and provided information in a safe, professional manner on complex activities.
Performs all tasks for which the work group is responsible.
Provide a safe environment for guests and staff to participate while providing safety, fun and guest engagement at the highest level.
Constantly monitor the adherence of safety policies to ensure that our guest and staff safety is our highest priority.
Greet guests and give an introductory orientation talk and provide information on Zip Line tour.
Assist in the inspection of quest equipment.
Complete daily end of day sales report.
Keeps daily files of inspections, guest’s counts, and all related records.
Inform Manager of any maintenance and supply needs of the Zip Line office.
Ensure the highest level of cleanliness at all times while actively mitigating any hazards that may arise.
Fitting guests in harness and helmets correctly and ensuring the use of all safety equipment.
Using customer engagement skills to ensure a memorable experience for each guest.
Educating guests about the history of Grand Canyon West as well as geology, culture and Hualapai Tribe.
Knowledge and Abilities:
Have the physical capability to assist and accommodate guests of various sizes.
Be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
Family and kid friendly.
Strong computer skills.
Qualifications:
Preference given to Hualapai Tribal Members.
Good oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and outgoing personality.
High School Diploma or GED.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
