Position Summary:
Ability to multi-task and prioritize are necessary for a clerical coordinator/specimen processor.
Critical thinking skills necessary.
Knowledge of working with centrifuges and other laboratory equipment preferred.
Answers phone, distributes specimens to appropriate departments, researches problems with specimens, faxes results, scans reports into Medhost.
Performs additional clerical duties as assigned.
Reports to: Director of Laboratory
FLSA: Non-exempt
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education
X High school diploma or equivalent Required
Required Skills

Minimum Work Experience
Experience in a Laboratory setting preferred.
Willing to train the right person.
Some exposure to a healthcare environment necessary
