I bought a brand new Gitzo GT5533LS tripod with a Gitzo GIGH4383LR heavy duty ball head to use as a rifle platform for long distance shooting.
I took it out to the range one time and learned that long distance shooting is not my sport.
The tripod/head has been used only one time and is essentially brand new with no scratches or marks.
The head is the quick release type and is compatible with Really Right Stuff adapters for various rifles.
It comes with everything a new tripod comes with including the box and two types of feet.
This is the top-of-the-line current production strongest Gitzo tripod with the highest load capacity, 90 lbs, and top-of-the-line current production strongest Gitzo head with the highest load capacity, 66 lbs.
This tripod sells new for $1,400 and the head sells new for $570, plus shipping and sales tax bringing the total to over $2,000.
I am asking $850 FIRM for the tripod and head, less than half of a new store-bought tripod.
